So, apparently some people actually read my neglected blog. I guess I'm not offering much for you lately.
So, how about that election in Massachusetts! Leave it to the Democratic Party to lose Ted Kennedy's seat. Not that I'm a pessimist. I still hold out hope that turnout and common sense will prevail. Polls close in two hours, so cross your fingers, fellow progressive liberals.
I hope those visiting my website, johnnYYac's Omnichord Ramblings, are enjoying the recordings ( http://johnnYYac.tripod.com ). I'm pretty happy with "Wonderful" and "Bermuda Hitchhiker", though I need to put up a better effort for "One Big Holiday".
I do believe my efforts at increasing Omnichord awareness are having an impact, based on the prices for units on eBay lately. I got my 1984 OM-84 for $150 (including shipping). Similar units are going for over $300 on a regular basis. I'm beginning to regard my little hobby as also a good investment. I'm not sure the wife would agree, however.
